Green Cay
Located on the North side of Green Cay is an exciting drift dive. The sea floor is alive with hard corals, gorgonians, the occasional reef squid, parrot and squirrel fish. The main attraction of the site are a series of huge boulders and pinnacles, they are covered with hard and soft corals, delicate branching hydroid fans and brightly coloured sponges. A vertical chimney, big enough for one diver at a time, stretches up through the reef from 60 to thirty feet. Overhangs are filled with sweepers, juvenile angel fish, glassy minnows and fairly basslets. This is the only place in the islands where we have seen the occasional manta ray, turtles, eagles rays, dog snapper, creole wrasse, and pork fish, which all contribute to making this a special dive.
